David Andrews Young Web Page
David Andrews Young, created and maintains the David Young's Genealogy Pages web site. David Young graduated from Killeen High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Dallas. He is a registered professional engineer and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. |

David Young served 4 terms as an elected trustee of the DeSoto Independent School District, holding the positions of secretary, vice president and president of the school board over his tenure of 12 years. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lancaster Community Hospital and president of the DeSoto Rotary Club. He has served on the management and advisory boards of The 500 Inc., KERA North Texas Public Broadcasting and the Dallas Theater Center.
